SHANY Eye Thermal Imaging for Electric Vehicle Battery Temperature Monitoring

To address the parking and charging needs of electric vehicles, the Ministry of Transportation has implemented the "Regulations Governing the Installation and Management of Dedicated Parking Spaces and Charging Facilities for Electric Vehicles." Off-street public parking lots designated for small vehicles must, in accordance with regulations, install dedicated parking spaces and charging facilities for electric vehicles. This includes public off-street parking lots, where at least 2% of the total number of small vehicle parking spaces must be dedicated to electric vehicle charging. Private off-street public parking lots should each install at least 1% (and this is projected to increase significantly to 5-10% by 2025). Currently, driven by national energy conservation and carbon reduction policies, the electric vehicle market is expected to grow exponentially. However, many electric vehicles are parked in building basements. Although charging stations themselves do not have batteries, if the batteries inside the electric vehicles are damaged, the current flowing during charging could cause a fire or even an explosion. Therefore, early prevention of fires caused by electric vehicle charging is extremely important. Heqi Eagle Eye thermal imaging products have been installed in charging spaces in large and medium-sized public and private parking lots in Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and Taichung City.
